Back from Norway

Our spring break to Norway was so wonderful. So off the grid. Every time I go there I wonder why we choose to live in such an insane place where life is so intense, complex, and riddled with chaos--traveling from one crisis to the next at warp speed. But then I snap back to reality when I pay the kroner equivalent of $1000 dollars a week in food, $10 a gallon for diesel, and can't find basic stuff like milk in containers greater than liter size, suntan lotion, and Miller Lite. The minute I get back to the states, I seek sanctuary in my own personal temple--yes, you got it--Target--where I deeply inhale air that smells of stale popcorn and bend down to the kiss the filthy floor well worn from my own feet. Nevertheless, getting off the grid once in a while cleanses the soul and the eardrums, so I highly recommend it to you fellow crazy suburbanites. Here are some photos to show you what I mean.
